Protecting Security Guards’ Rights: PSRA Takes Firm Action

In a move to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and protect security guards’ rights, the Private Security Regulatory Authority (PSRA) has issued an ultimatum to private security firms to release their guards’ personal documents within 48 hours. This measure addresses the guards’ complaints about the unlawful retention of IDs, academic certificates, and other essential documents.

PSRA Director General Fazul Mohamed emphasized the severe penalties for non-compliance, including license cancellation.
